Invention📍 Menlo Park, California, USA
The first computer mouse was built in 1964 at the Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, California: a little box rolling on two wheels, dreamed up by Douglas Engelbart and built by Bill English. Its cord looked like a tail, hence the name.
